One of the first collaborations I was involved in as the MWV Chamber of Commerce Director was Bark in the Park. Rozzie May and the Ahearn's from Four Your Paws Only ran with the idea and did a terrific job of presenting a fun day for people and pets alike.
I am so glad that it is coming back in it's original form and thank the Ahearn's for sitting with our Events Director to mentor her in this re-creation.
I am a cat lover and hope that all cat lovers will support the cause even though for this year the dogs will be getting most of the play. Cat's have told me this is how it should be as they are really happier looking pretty and taking a nap rather than taking a walk.
But cats gotta eat, be spayed and neutered, loved on by dedicated staff and be cute when a potential cat lover comes looking for their next companion.
